So it seems that everyone, and their dealer, are creaming their pants due to the highly anticipated Miss Kitting «comeback» …
Well, not that I want to piss on any parade … but please … you know what I mean?


First we had Miss Kittin & The Hacker «Hometown». Huge yawn!

And now, big arty fanfare, Miss Kittin «Kittin Is High».
As some would say; «it has a certain naïve charm … But no muscles!»

I´m not a hater – promise … But that whole i-am-tired-of-life-and-i-write-absurd-lyrics-and-i-can-just-talk-over-
this-beat-as-long-as-it-last-around-10 minutes-or-so is frankly not doing it for me. Although i´m dying to find out who hides behind the Black Labelle-name … They are fellow Norwegians I hear. Well, i´ll keep an eye open for them!

But why bitch about Kittin? I look forward to the album – that´s all I can say at this point.

So, I should end this post with some great music. And my ears can´t get enough of Xenia Beliayeva at the moment.

John Langdon and Katya Casio are Hong Kong Counterfeit. And they really was the sound of the future at the time when the hype called electroclash came down on us like a ton of bricks. Sure, we all still remember Fischerspooner`s «Emerge» and we still giggle along to Miss Kittin & The Hacker`s «Frank Sinatra».

But the one that still makes me dance and shake my head in a frenzy is Hong Kong Counterfeit`s amazing «Metal Disco» from 2000.

So Norway´s top 50 dj´s have been selected by the public, or rather clubbers and such.

The Top 50 Djs Poll was hosted by the free paper Natt&Dag and now the verdict is out.

Norway´s best dj is G-HA – and too bloody right as well! Respect!

I made the 32 spot. And i´m just surprised that i even made the list ... Thax to all my friends who voted!

The best bit of the list is how they describe each dj`s style.
I fell to the ground and just rolled around laughing when i read the description on my style of music. I could never come up with this myself – but i promise you: i will use this when i promote myself. It´s genius and totally on the spot, if you ask me ...
