Fagget Fairys consist of DJ Sensimilla & MC ENA, feeding you with electro-grime beats and sweet baile balkan rap...

It's a journey through heavy basslines, electro-techno beats and the live performance of MC ENA.

Copenhagen-based burka-wearing lesbian ghetto-funk MC/DJ duo Fagget Fairys met on the dancefloor while DJ Sensimilla was spinning records. They fell in love, got engaged and started the band.

Since then they have played clubs like Vega and CultureBox and festivals like Strom and Roskilde. After releasing two tracks on their own ArtRebels label, they were contacted by New York blog Palms Out Sounds and collaborated on an EP with the girls, which consisted of two original tracks and two remixes by Drop The Lime and Copyfokking.

The girls flew over to NYC for the release of their EP and played at the Knitting Factory, which lead to a meeting with the New York producer Bille Bahncke, with whom the girls are making an album.

- He was an Indian enlightened master and perhaps the most rebellious of them all!

- We are both very ashamed of our buffalo shoes in the nineties.

How would you describe your work?
- On a deeper level it´s impulsive, intuitive and very much heartfelt. And on a more technical level it´s a bass=driven grime-tech-dub-rave-tronic lesbian that effortlessly slides into an irresistible blend of pop. The songwriting is sensual, edgy and performed with a very high energy and lots of freestyling. (And the album is even better than the EP!)

After the fashion industry, Chicks on Speed have chosen a new target, which is even bigger and more monstrous: the art market. Due to a speculation bubble without precedence, art has become the fifth largest industry in the world. Art collecting is now regarded as avantgarde consumer behaviour, collectors have become role models of coolness, and curators are said to be the new DJs. Not only the prices are absurd, the whole system is corrupt.

It has always been part of COS' subversive strategy to beat adversaries with their own weapons. They now fight the art market with art, and museums are their operating theatre. Therefore, the even larger collective of COS (Kathi Glas, Anat Ben David, A.L. Steiner, Melissa Logan and Alex Murray Leslie) co-operate with their famous artist-colleague Douglas Gordon.

«Art Rules!» is a campaign: a performance, a song, and a video.

«Art Rules!» performaned by *Art Rules Crew, has already been shown in important museums like the Pompidou Centre in Paris, the Museum of Modern Art in New York and venues in Madrid and Vienna; in the near future, museums in Kyoto and Tokyo will follow.

The first document from their campaign will be released in form of the CD «Art Rules!», co-produced by COS and Christopher Just. This Euro-Trash anthem against the art trash shown at the 2007 mega-events in Kassel, Venice, and Basel was produced in a hotel room in New York, just after the COS performance at the MoMA.

Important notice for collectors: Sell your paintings before the bubble finally bursts! Note that only a few illegally distributed copies of «Art Rules!» made the song 3 in the 2007 annual charts of spex magazine.

Tim lays in the hot sand and spots two lovers as they run off to an oasis in the desert. The two strip and with the waterfall pounding on their naked bodies they kiss before moving to the rocks and making love. All the while Tim watches the two in love. When he is invited to join them he removes his clothes and, as he jumps into the water, the oasis disappears.

Alone and naked in the desert a glimpse of what could be happens when a young man covers Tim's sun beaten body in his sheer cloth. Tim is given a vision of what love is about. In his mind he sees two young men give themselves to each other making love and expressing their desire for each other. Suddenly it all flashes and he sees the two young men become him and Andrew.


It was all a dream, or was it? Tim wakes and tells Andrew he has been asleep for years, but now he is awake. He has finally found the true meaning of love! It is not the sex act itself but it is giving your heart, soul and sprit. The two share an erotic love making session that fullfils both men's anticipation. After a long journey Tim finally found the true meaning of love and it had been at his side all the time.
